In this field trip to the State Botanical Gardens here in Athens, our students will learn about Art & Nature. Connect your students’ interests in science and the arts with this guided field trip through the Porcelain and Decorative Arts Museum. Students will explore how artists throughout history have interpreted the natural world, create original artwork inspired by nature, and learn how art can promote environmental stewardship.  This trip involves scavenger hunts, matching activities, science communication, and botanical illustration.
