

Algebra I
Welcome to Algebra! This 2-period course will explore patterns and skills discovered in previous math courses and applying them to more abstract concepts. Using the Teaching Textbook curriculum, individualized tutoring and exploratory activities, we will explore topics covering local Algebra standards including properties of exponents, polynomial operations, solving single-variable equations and it's applications, linear equations and graphs, quadratic equations and graphs, systems of equations, absolute value functions and equations as well as several geometric algebra applications and some statistics and probability topics.
