In the American Girl Book Club students will read selected books from the American Girl series at home throughout the week and then come to class ready for a group discussion. Each week’s class will include a brief history lesson to help students understand the time period and culture of the story. Students will enjoy hands-on activities such as crafts, themed tea parties and creative projects that connect to the book’s historical setting. This class will encourage a love of reading while helping the student better understand American history in a fun, meaningful way. This class will be great for girls who love stories, creativity and exploring the past with friends!
