Re-Registration for Spring

Before you Re-Register!​

Before re-registering, you need to have completed all financial and volunteer obligations for the semester.  The last tuition payment of the semester is November 2 & 4, so to be eligible to re-register, you need to make sure you have made all your tuition payments (August through November), paid all your supply fees, and signed up for volunteering or have paid your opt out fee.  Your re-registration is not accepted until you have fulfilled these responsibilities.

How to Re-Register:​​

1. For students wanting to keep the same schedule from fall to spring:

   • Go to the payment center of the Compass website and select "Re-Registration."  There, you will let us know if your child will be keeping the same schedule for spring. 

   • There is a $30/student fee payable at the time of re-registration.  

2. For students wanting to make changes from fall to spring:

   • Go to the payment center of the Compass website and select "Re-Registration."  There, you will let us know if your child will be making changes for the spring semester.

   • There is a $30/student fee payable at the time of re-registration.  

   • You will receive a link to a Google Form to fill out for their new desired schedule.  Check out the Monday schedule and Wednesday schedule which have been updated to show which classes are open, which are closed, and which have waiting lists.  This will change as students re-register and add or drop classes.

   • Class change forms will be sent out starting November 11.

3. For students who are not returning for the spring:

   • ​We are very sorry to see you go and hope you have enjoyed your time at Compass.

   • Please let us know that your child won't be returning by completing the payment process for re-registration.  There is an option for "not returning."  It will take you through a normal check out process, but the amount is $0, and you won't be charged.  This helps us keep track of all of our students.

A few notes:

• You must be up to date on all tuition payments, supply fees, and volunteer obligations. 

• If your child is already enrolled in a class that is closed or waitlisted, their spot is secure during the re-registration period.  You do not have to worry about them losing their spot in a class as long as you re-register by Nov. 13, 2026.

• All of our classes are designed to be year-long courses, so there is no need to change classes if you are happy with your schedules.  However, if you are looking for a change, this is a good time to do it as there are no penalties for dropping a class at the semester.

• On the Wednesday schedule, 

  • Classes colored GREEN are open to any student joining the class in January (as long as there is space).  

  • Classes colored YELLOW are open to new students to join IF a current student drops the class (the class is full, but the content works for a new student to join mid-year).  

  • Classes colored GREY cannot be joined by new students mid-year because the class is too far along in the curriculum or there is a performance that has already been planned and roles assigned.  

  • Re-registration for current students closes on Nov. 13.   After this date, any current student who has not re-registered will risk losing their seat in a class, and it will be opened to new enrollees.  

• We ARE accepting new students in the Monday Academic Program, so if you are looking to add academic classes for spring, you are welcome to do so.  Most of our MAP classes are open for new students.​
