World Geography (MAP)
Grades
8th-12th
Exploring World Geography helps students better understand the world around them and their place in it. Throughout this course, we’ll look at how people and the physical world interact—how geography influences the way we live, and how human activity shapes the world in return.
As we “travel” across the globe, students will explore the people, landscapes, religions, history, governments, and cultures of each region. Class time will include interactive lessons, hands-on mapping activities, thoughtful discussions, and engaging projects that bring each region to life.
The teacher will provide grades and feedback throughout the year with final grades in December and May.
