This interactive class introduces students to the sounds and sights of Spanish language and culture. Students will learn through songs, movement, games, crafts, hands-on activities, and call-and-response practice. We will focus on conversational Spanish so that students will be able to talk about themselves and their daily life. We will also do fun, in-class activities to practice simple writing and word recognition in Spanish. The main focus at this level will be conversation, with an emphasis on the student's ability to talk about him or herself. We will also do fun crafts and activities to reinforce the new words and ideas we're learning.
