Discover the fun and wide variety of classic card games played with a standard 52-card deck. From familiar favorites like Crazy Eights, Rummy, Hearts, Spades and Euchre to lesser-known traditional games, students will learn new rules, try new strategies, and share plenty of laughs along the way.
Students will build skills in strategy, memory, probability, and problem-solving while also practicing sportsmanship, cooperation, and how to win (and lose!) gracefully. Emphasis is placed on learning together, teaching games to others, and creating a friendly, inclusive game table.
By the end of the year, students will leave with a collection of games they can play and teach for a lifetime, proving that all you really need for great fun is a deck of cards and a few friends.
