From the whimsical to the epic, we'll be taking a look at poetry through the ages, going through both the classics and modern examples. In each class we will examine a published work, focus on what makes the poem work the way it does, and write our own! Some poems will tell a story, some will be songs, and others will be funny nonsense. At the end of the year, your student will get a book of all our compiled works!
