Handyman Skills
In this class, it will be mostly hands on learning to develop skills to work on common projects around the home. This will involve a wide range of projects from repairing holes in sheetrock, to installing an outlet or switch in the home, to mixing and pouring concrete for a slab, and so much more. We will also be learning how to use common hand held power tools that many homeowners keep around the house. There may be a few lessons that we learn using a book or videos for safety reasons, but most everything will be done with a hands-on approach. Learning these skills can greatly increase a person's confidence in taking on projects at home, save money, and/or start to develop tradesman skills for a potential career to include electrical, plumbing, carpentry, landscape, general contractor, etc.
