Creative Dramatics explores the art of theatre in a fun, cooperative way that is easy for younger students to learn and enjoy. This class will be less text/script reading based, than older drama classes. Creative Dramatics will aid students in a variety of areas, including confidence, social skills, communication, listening, and cooperation. We will explore drama through storytelling, pantomime, movement, music, and joyful expression. Students will perform a low-pressure, fun presentation at the end of fall and spring semester. Students will need to bring a folder with pockets. Students/Parents are responsible for providing their own costumes. *this is a great option for younger 2nd graders or 2nd graders that aren’t reading independently
