Nature Explorers

The study of nature can help children develop observation skills, improve creativity and increase physical activity. It can also give them an appreciation for all of creation, from the tiny ant to the giant redwood. In this class we will explore and learn about the amazing natural world God has created. Each week we will read a nature themed children’s book on a topic such as trees, leaves, birds, and flowers. Then we will take a nature walk to observe and explore the week’s topic and collect items like sticks, leaves, pinecones and stones to create a variety of art and craft projects. This class will include plenty of new content, along with some of the most loved stories and activities from this year.
