Math is all around us and used on a daily basis. It can be seen in many aspects of our daily lives. This class will allow your student to apply basic mathematical concepts to real world situations. They will work in small groups to apply math in real world situations like splitting the bill, measuring when cooking, managing money, sports, construction, mapping and so much more. When your learner makes the connection of how math is used everyday, they will be more likely to view math as valuable. Supplies will be provided for this class.
