Basic Automotive Understanding
This class will teach the basics of how a vehicle works, how to perform routine maintenance, and how to take on some of the simpler challenges when working on a car. This class will involve both classroom learning, as well as hands-on learning. Some of the hands-on learning may include changing a tire, rotating tires, changing oil, replacing bulbs in headlights or taillights, replacing air filters, inspecting/replacing serpentine belt, etc. Classroom learning will involve teaching about the inner workings of the engine, the cooling system, the electrical system, and why maintenance is important for
